Possible timing and fixtures
As reported by The Sun, Kulusevski hopes that after the current international break he will soon be included in one of Roberto De Zerbi’s matchday squads. It could be as soon as October 10, when Tottenham travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
If the Manchester United fixture comes slightly too early, the report states his comeback is currently expected to occur in one of the three or four matches immediately following it, barring any further complications.
Medical caution and past setbacks
Tottenham’s medical staff remain extremely cautious about integrating Kulusevski into full-contact football following previous minor setbacks during his rehabilitation.
What a return would mean for Tottenham
Roberto De Zerbi has described Kulusevski’s return as being “like a new signing” for the club. The 26-year-old has registered 15 goals and 19 assists during his time in North London, and the report highlights his ball retention, creative output and tactical flexibility as attributes that could help revive Tottenham’s season amid a difficult start despite a summer spending spree.
Memories at Old Trafford
The venue holds fond memories for Kulusevski, who produced one of his most impressive Tottenham displays during a 3-0 victory at Old Trafford in September 2024.
