Team Liquid and Dell’s gaming powerhouse Alienware just signed a fresh five-year contract extension that keeps their iconic partnership locked down through 2031.
By the time this new deal wraps up, the pair will be celebrating two full decades of working together. That is practically ancient history in esports years, making it officially the longest-running partnership the competitive gaming scene has ever seen.

When this relationship first kicked off back in 2011, esports was in a wildly different era. Teams were basically operating out of cramped LAN houses, surviving on energy drinks, and playing on whatever monitor setups they could scrape together.
Fast forward 15 years, and this collaboration has built state-of-the-art Alienware Training Facilities in Los Angeles, Utrecht, and São Paulo. These centers replaced the chaotic living room gaming houses with high-tech performance labs, complete with data-driven analytics, dedicated support staff, and elite equipment.
The partnership has also leaked into actual product design, with Team Liquid pros helping Alienware engineer their Pro Series peripherals through performance testing.

Rather than celebrating with a boring PR handshake photo, the duo is launching this new era right alongside one of the biggest streaming spectacles in gaming: the World of Warcraft Race to World First.
Presented by Alienware and produced in-house by Team Liquid, the marathon event sees the world’s top WoW guilds pull sleepless, multi-day sessions to beat a brand-new Mythic raid boss before anyone else.
It is a fitting showcase of hardware reliability, given that a single mid-combat system crash during a tight boss encounter can ruin hundreds of hours of team preparation.
Esports has seen its fair share of volatile shifts over the past decade, but both organizations have managed to ride out every industry wave together. Team Liquid Co-CEO Steve Arhancet noted that when they first partnered with Alienware, esports was just a wild dream, making a loyal sponsor a true blessing.
With 96 athletes competing across heavy-hitter titles like League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, and CS2, Team Liquid remains the top prize-money earner in Western esports history. Locking in Alienware through 2031 gives the blue horse badge plenty of high-tech runway to keep filling up the trophy cabinet for another decade.
